The real Jorge Molina´s value for Getafe CF. Contract renewal?

The experimented striker Jorge Molina will end contract with Getafe CF in June 30th 2019. Currently, he is playing a brilliant season. 

When he was hired for Getafe CF in 2nd division the press said:
"Jorge Molina has been hired by Getafe, the player goes there just to finish his carreer" as saying that his retirement would be very close. Even so more than two seasons have been passed since he signed in July 2016, but nowadays he is still a key player in Bordalás´s Getafe.



The fact is Jorge Molina have been shown a high fitness level and good performance since he signed for Getafe CF. He is one the most experimented strikers in LaLiga indeed he is always keeping calm and he doesn´t crack under pressure.

Physically, he is tall and strong, so when Jorge Molina is present in the pitch, Getafe keeps the ball for longer time in the opposing team´s area rather than in the dangerous zone. He is probably one of the best striker in LaLiga attacking giving the back to the defenders, it means is very difficult to predict his next movement. Also his shot at half turn skill is amazing.

Jorge Molina´s name touched the heart of Getafe Supporters during the season 16/17 because he scored 22 goals and he became a kind of hero to achieve the second Getafe´s upgrade to first division, just one season before the downgrade.
Next season, 17/18, he scored just 5 goals, but he fougth and recovered a lot of balls, although his individual work and presence in the pitch made the difference in terms of team´s performance.

In the season underway, 18/19, Jorge Molina is shining as in his best times. He has scored 7 goals and he has given 4 assistances. Currently, he is in a good shape, his playing is being fluid and cooperative. He is always pressing in the opposing area, so he keeps the danger away from Getafe´s box, so the defenders have normally time enough to come back and to avoid fast counter attacks.

Some bad sport journalists are wondering about Jorge Molina´s contract renewal because of his age. From my point of view, Jorge Molina always take care enough about himself, he train at high intensity and he is showing a high fitness level, it is well known he is very strict with himself so with this behaviour Jorge Molina should renew his contract with Getafe CF at least for another season. Also, as I said before, Jorge Molina in Getafe is a kind of hero for the supporters so I think it is positive for the show as well.

Bordalás´s Getafe is a very solid team, partially thank to Jorge Molina. Personally, as Getafe supporter, I hope we will keep singing ¡J-O-R-G-E-M-O-L-I-N-A LO LO LO LOOO! for a long time.

Getafe - Bilbao. The UNFAIR VAR decision. Jaime Mata's penalty.

The football match between Getafe and Atlethic was being balanced, but in the latter minutes the neither the referee nor the video assistants referees watched the crystal clear penalty on Jaime Mata for Getafe C.F. In the last ball of the match, while Getafe was attacking and pressing in the Athletic´s box, a grab knocked over Jaime Mata and spread the polemic. After that, the referee allowed the game kept going beyond the extra time (+4 min) apparently waiting for the VAR´s decision, but this decision never happened. A derby with no intensity. Summary of Getafe - Leganés. (30/03/19)

Getafe was deservedly defeated by Leganés 0-2 in the southern Madrid derby.    Getafe supporters did not enjoy a lovely day because their team was unrecognizable. Getafe's playing was regrettable. This two words would be the best way to describe how bad Getafe played Leganés. Perhaps, due to either the unusual time (1:00 pm local time) or the national teams have played for two weeks.    Leganés started dominating the match. In the 15th minute Maksimovic was pointed a penalty when he stopped a shot from Leganés with his hand. The only positive thing of this awful day was when David Soria blocked the penalty shot.
