The worst coach in Getafe´s story in LaLiga.

Getafe CF has had many coaches in LaLiga, but not all were good enough. After Víctor Muñoz's words last week we had a question, which Getafe's coach has been the worst one? In this article the answer will be unveiled.

   Firstly, last week in Radio Marca, Víctor Muñoz, Getafe's ex-coach, congratulated José Bordalás and Getafe team for their good results in the on going season, But at the end of his words he left a disappointing comment to the chairman, Ángel Torres.
"José Bordalás is doing a really good job with this club, despite of its chairman. I am very happy for them as a club because they are 4th but not for their chairman."
   Víctor Muñoz's words are funny specially in Getafe, because he was one the worst coaches that Getafe ever had in First Division. It is sure that Víctor Muñoz is still jaundiced due to he was fired just after a training session from Getafe, after a long trend of bad results and bad excuses to justify himself.

   In the following table the stats corresponding with all Getafe's coach in LaLiga have been collected.


   In order to avoid the timing differences and to be more fair, we are going to pay attention just in the points obtained per match (PPM), because we consider that it is the most relevant data to measure properly the coach's performace:

   According to the chart, it is very clear that the worst Getafe's coach was Fran Escribá, followed closely by our friend Víctor Muñoz, 0.88 and 1.00 points per match, respectively. If their data is compaired with the best Getafe's coach ever, José Bordalás is reaching  69% more points per match than Escribá and 49% more than Víctor Muñoz.
   To understand better why this two gentlemen were fired we are going to quote two Marca´s newspaper articles:

   Marca 27/04/09
"Getafe has taken the decision to fire Víctor Muñoz as The Deep Blues´coach just before last five LaLiga rounds due to his bad results. Currently, the club is 17th in the table, only 1 point above the downgrade to Second Division."

   Marca 12/04/16
"Fran Escribá was fired before last six rounds due to his bad results, it has been nearly three months without win"

   To sum up, Fran Escribá and Víctor Muñoz have been definitely the worst Getafe´s coaches ever. Worse than their results were their way to play, Getafe showed under their rules a very boring game. With their loser spirit that both transmited to our team we lost all the games before played them. Also, their press conferences before and after match were so sad, both seemed like they were waiting to be executed. Ángel Torres realised too late that our executor were within.

   This article came up just a couple of days after Celta de Vigo announced that Fran Escribá is going to be their new coach upto the end of the on going season. They trust in him to achieve the salvation, we would like wish our best wishes to Celta, because Fran Escribá might not be the best option to encourage a team to keep up the division, specially when you are in the bottom of the table.

Getafe - Bilbao. The UNFAIR VAR decision. Jaime Mata's penalty.

The football match between Getafe and Atlethic was being balanced, but in the latter minutes the neither the referee nor the video assistants referees watched the crystal clear penalty on Jaime Mata for Getafe C.F. In the last ball of the match, while Getafe was attacking and pressing in the Athletic´s box, a grab knocked over Jaime Mata and spread the polemic. After that, the referee allowed the game kept going beyond the extra time (+4 min) apparently waiting for the VAR´s decision, but this decision never happened. A derby with no intensity. Summary of Getafe - Leganés. (30/03/19)

Getafe was deservedly defeated by Leganés 0-2 in the southern Madrid derby.    Getafe supporters did not enjoy a lovely day because their team was unrecognizable. Getafe's playing was regrettable. This two words would be the best way to describe how bad Getafe played Leganés. Perhaps, due to either the unusual time (1:00 pm local time) or the national teams have played for two weeks.    Leganés started dominating the match. In the 15th minute Maksimovic was pointed a penalty when he stopped a shot from Leganés with his hand. The only positive thing of this awful day was when David Soria blocked the penalty shot.
